Straight pull spokes help to make your wheel more durable by removing the J bend of traditional spokes, and we are carbon fiber road rims are highly durable. So we have combined them to bring you some more of our high-quality aero road wheels.
First, off we have built our Fast and Light 40mm aero rim with Sapim CX-Ray spokes, the best choice for light and stiff spokes. Our Fast and Light rim is a wide blunt aero shape constructed with the excellent Toray T700 carbon fiber cloth. We have gone with a wider shape to create a better meeting point between rim and tire; this means that even our 40mm deep rim will help slice the air for you.
By going wide, you can run wider tires, which we are now finding to be faster than the old 23mm standard. Wider tires also mean you have more air in your tire to act as a little bit of suspension. We have even gone with tubeless ready rims; you can now drop your pressure a little and still avoid punctures. The perfect balance between speed and comfort.
As you will now be avoiding punctures, we have made sure to fit some of the most reliable hubs in the market. To make sure that you have full peace of mind when out riding. We have gone with the excellent sealed bearing Novatec FS522SB/AS511SB mix. These hubs will keep you going for years to come. That is why we give you a two-year guarantee with your new wheels.
Wide Rim Tech
25mm rim wide creates a better, more stable support, while the shape of the tire and rim together creates regular, stable air flow, in short, more aerodynamics, less attrition. provides an ideal basis for 25/28mm tires, the sizes currently popular.
2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes
Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.
High Quality Straight Pull Hub
Novatec straight pull hub with 4 pawls and high quality Japanese sealed EZO bearings, it can use 3-5 years under normal usage. Thousands of riders all over the world on these hubs and they are great performers and super durable.
Sapim CX-RAY As light as a titanium spoke
The CX-Ray still receives the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke. The CX-Ray aero spoke combines excellent aerodynamics with low weight and great strength. Not only are they more aerodynamic, they also make wheels lighter and stronger. Its unique strength and flexibility make the CX-Ray suitable for most bicycle disciplines. CX-Ray spokes are used by top bike racers and triathletes around the world.
This wheelset has been certified and approved by the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), for use in UCI sanctioned road races.
