Mad Jack Outdoor Attracts ExtremeMist PCS as their Next Brand Partner

One of a kind personal cooling system company joins the ranks of innovative brands launching  eCommerce marketplace, Mad Jack Outdoor

Homewood, Calif. (August 20th, 2020) —  Today, Mad Jack Outdoor (www.madjackoutdoor) and ExtremeMist announced their partnership centered on amplifying the personal cooling system company’s online sales. ExtremeMist, based in Scottsdale, AZ, manufactures a line of personal cooling systems including misting systems, hydration packs and waist packs. All designed to keep the avid outdoor enthusiast cooled.

“Mad Jack Outdoor has a unique formula for building younger, innovative brands online presence in the outdoor space,” said Ron Laikind, CEO and Founder of ExtremeMist “It was a no-brainer to partner them, as both companies embrace innovation, entrepreneurial spirit  and turn their nose to the status quo.”

Mad Jack Outdoor is a first-of-its-kind online marketplace in the outdoor space. Utilizing a three-pronged approach, this marketplace model enables new brands — that are fresh off of Kickstarter or new to the market — to reach customers outside of the traditional, slow-to-adopt channels. Simultaneously, the marketplace works with independent specialty retailers to showcase their overstocked or out of season brands at a discounted rate, and gives shoppers the opportunity to access the entire product catalogs of veteran brands.

“When a potential brand comes to you, that was born out of trekking 1000 through the Sahara, you take notice” said Ricardo, Co-Founder of Mad Jack Outdoors. “ExtremeMist and their product line have already caught the attention of the LA Times and Gear Junkie, we are looking forward to furthering their success online, while staying true to our customer base by bringing truly unique products to our marketplace.”

About ExtremeMist

Living in Arizona, the hottest of the United States, and I’m an avid outdoorsman who’s explored the world’s deserts – including a 1000 mile trek through the Sahara. So, I was always grappling with the heat – I didn’t want it to stop me from the activities I love. I looked around for anything that could help, but high-pressure misting systems were only for home or commercial use. And personal systems were low-end, hand-held, mini-fan style misters. That just wasn’t good enough!

I knew what I needed – compact, lightweight, hands-free and professional-grade, built for someone one the move and out for long hikes, rides or runs. But, would it be possible to get a high-pressure pump and a high-capacity rechargeable battery into a small, light and durable unit?

After extensive research, I was convinced it could be done – or maybe I convinced myself to find a way. I spent over two years of development and testing, refining the specs, redesigning elements, adding features to make it more flexible, sourcing high-quality parts and making sure it worked the way I wanted it to. I had other outdoor enthusiasts test it out and give me feedback.

Then, finally, it was ready! And it has transformed my summer activity! I get more days out, plus I’m more comfortable and having more fun. It’s become my favorite piece of outdoor gear – and I’m sure it’ll become yours, too.
